Time Warner Cable San Antonio Adds 14 Original HD Shows From ON Networks To Video On Demand Line Up
Over 50 New ON Episodes Join More than 1000 Hours of Free Video-On-Demand Programming Now Available on HD Showcase ON Demand Channel 101
SAN ANTONIO – March 25, 2008 – Time Warner Cable San Antonio and ON Networks, Inc.® (ON) today announced the cable operator will begin offering 14 of ON’s exclusive, high-definition (HD) programs to subscribers in San Antonio. The first shows available include popular hits like Golf Tips with Joe Beck, Dinner with the Band and Cocktails on the Fly, and can be watched anytime for free on HD Showcase ON Demand Channel 101.
Consumer demand for free Video-On-Demand (VOD) programming has grown tremendously over the past year. Time Warner Cable has recognized the growing opportunity for free VOD programming and is leading the industry by assembling the greatest quantity and highest quality of VOD shows for its customers around the country. This latest distribution deal with ON Networks brings the total hours of free VOD programming available to Time Warner Cable San Antonio subscribers past the 1000 hour mark.
