On Networks Help
Welcome to ON Networks! Here are a few tips to help you optimize your viewing experience. If you have questions that aren't answered below, just email us at support@onnetworks.com and we'll get back to you right away.
System Requirements
What you'll need.
Macs: At least a 1.5ghz G4 cpu.
Windows, Linux: at least a 1ghz Pentium III cpu
We recommend Firefox 2 for all systems. Safari (Mac and Win) and Internet Explorer 6+ for Windows will work as well. You will need to ensure that JavaScript and Cookies have not been disabled.
Register
It's fast and easy. Click New Member at the top of any page to register for access to exclusive content, expanded site functionality and to interact with ON's community of viewers, producers and talent. Just enter a screen name, password and email address and click Submit.
Sign In
Take advantage. If you're already a member, Sign In at the top of any page using your registered email address and password. Signing in isn't required to view our videos, but it is required to access enhanced features such as ratings, comments and email subscriptions.
Browse Videos
Check it out. From our Home page, click any show "tile" or select from our list of Most Popular Episodes in the right-hand column. From any other page, click a category at the top of the page to browse and select a show, or enter a key word in the Search box at the top of the page.
View Videos
Enjoy the show. From any Show page or featured episode list, select an episode and click the play arrow. Player controls let you pause, fast-forward, start over, view in full-screen mode, increase volume, email a link and embed the video (see below for more details on how to embed videos).
Rate Videos (you must be registered and signed-in to access this functionality.)
Thumbs up or thumbs down? Mouse over the stars in the top right corner of the video player and click your rating selection. The rating will refresh in the featured episode listing shown in the right-hand column.
Add a Comment (you must be registered and signed-in to access this functionality.)
Your opinion counts. Click Add a Comment just below the video player, type in your message and click Submit. Your comment will display at the top of the list for everyone to read.
Podcasting
Take it with you. From any Show or Episode page, click on the appropriate icon for your favorite media player under Feeds and Pocasts. You will be redirected to the appropriate page/application.
RSS
Get instant updates. From any Show or Episode page, click the RSS icon under Feeds and Podcasts, select your preferred feed source and click Subscribe Now. You'll receive automatic updates each time a new episode is posted.
Share Videos with Friends
Let your friends know that you like. Click the Share Video icon to send a link to one or more friends. To enter more than one recipient, separate each email address with a comma.
Embed Videos
Share the love. Click the Embed HTML icon on the player control bar. From there, you can view the embeddable HTML player code, which can be copied and pasted onto any web page.
Bookmark Videos
Broadcast your favorites to social media sites like Digg, Reddit, and del.icio.us. Just use the Bookmark icon located beneath each video to automatically post that episode.
Email Updates
Be the first to know. From any Show or Episode page, click the Email icon under Subscribe, which will redirect you to a list of ON Networks shows. Check the boxes for your favorite series to receive weekly email updates when new episodes come online.
Show/Episode Background Info
Go behind the scenes. From any Show or Episode page, check our list of Resources to learn more about your favorite talent and production teams, recipes, etc.
Account Settings
From the top of any page, click on Account Settings to manage your registration account, profile information and subscription settings.
